ANA LAYEVSKA

La bella Ana Layevska es una de las estrellas de telenovelas más conocidas de la televisión hispana cuya carrera incluye grandes producciones que han sido exitosas en su país adoptivo México. La actriz que nació en Ucrania, ha realizado papeles protagónicos en producciones originales de Telemundo, incluyendo “Relaciones Peligrosas”, “Mi Corazón Insiste” y “El Fantasma de Elena”. El galán mexicano José Luis Resendez regresa a la pantalla de Telemundo luego de protagonizar “Corazón Valiente”. Oriundo de Monterrey, México, el actor cuenta con una vasta experiencia artística en telenovelas, series de televisión y cine. Su experiencia en Telemundo, incluye una actuación especial en “Flor Salvaje” luego de culminar “Los Herederos del Monte” en Colombia. FABIAN RIOS
Fabián Ríos se ha convertido en uno de los galanes favoritos de la televisión hispana luego de su exitosa participación en las producciones originales de Telemundo “Corazón Valiente”, “Los Herederos del Monte”, “Mi Corazón Insiste” y “El Fantasma de Elena”. El actor colombiano que fue seleccionado como uno de los hombres más sexy de la revista People en Español en el 2012, se dio a conocer fuera de su país natal con el personaje Albeiro en “Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso”.

Felicia Mercado es una de las más prominentes figuras del entretenimiento con una de las carreras más sólidas dentro del ámbito artístico mexicano con participaciones en más de cincuenta telenovelas y películas. La actriz veterana debutó en Telemundo en “La Casa de al Lado” seguido por “El Rostro de la Venganza”. La ex Miss México 1977, debutó en la pantalla chica en la telenovela “El Hogar Que Yo Robe” en 1981, pero su primera participación destacada fue en la famosa telenovela “Rosa Salvaje”.

SHALIM ORTIZ

Shalim Ortiz cuenta con una trayectoria artística que incluye participaciones en el mercado hispano y anglosajón tanto en telenovelas como en el ámbito musical, el teatro y el cine. Su debut en Telemundo fue en la exitosa telenovela “Una Maid en Manhattan”. Shalim ha participado en las series de televisión americanas “Heroes”, “CSI: Miami” y “Cold Case” y en la segunda temporada de “Magic City”. El actor bilingüe nacido en Puerto Rico, incursionó en el cine con las películas “The Winged Man”, “The Art of Travel”, “Touched”, “Sangre de Familia”, “Bad Ass”, “5 Bravo” y “Abril y Mayo”. A love that dared to go beyond all differences and prejudices

SYNOPSIS
Ignacia (Ana Layevska) is a young engineer who works for an important construction company that belongs to Tomas (Fabian Rios), her boyfriend. Ignacia and Tomas have been together a long time and finally decide to get married, although Ignacia could never imagine the kind of man Tomas really is. Days before the wedding, they have a heated argument, and Ignacia decides to leave town and have some time to herself. That is how she meets Pedro (Jose Luis Resendez), a charming, seemingly wealthy man, who makes her forget all her problems. Their attraction is immediate and mutual. With neither being able to control themselves, they end up spending an unforgettable weekend together, each falling in love with the other. However, Ignacia knows she is only living a dream, a parenthesis in her life, so first thing Monday morning, Pedro wakes up to only find a note from Ignacia, thanking him for their time together but leaving him no trace of how to find her.

Regretting what happened, Ignacia returns home to find that Tomas is waiting for her with a new position in the company, expecting her to forgive him. She accepts the post, but when she goes to visit the construction site that she will now be managing, she is shocked to find herself face-to-face with Pedro, an average construction worker with no money and no great aspirations.

Pedro, indeed, is just another worker at the site, while Ignacia is the boss, the wealthy one, the one with all the professional success. The differences between Ignacia and Pedro are great, like a deep chasm that separates them, however, they will discover that their passion and love is stronger than anything else, and as much as they try, they cannot be apart. Among Ignacia’s well-to-do family and Pedro’s working class family, the relationship causes a scandal. The more the couple gets closer, the more reasons arise for those around them to believe that theirs is an impossible love.

Ignacia and Pedro will discover that, despite having every reason not to be together, they will love each other above prejudice, differences and rejection, however, they will have to ask themselves whether it’s all worth it when it seems that the entire world is against them.

CHARACTER PROFILES

IGNACIA SANTAMARIA– Ana Layevska
She’s a beautiful, smart and sensitive young woman of very good social status and college-educated. She has a natural gift for leadership and believes that women are not the weaker sex. Ignacia is a woman who has not experienced true passion in her life. When she finds it, she won’t give it up and will cling fearlessly to whom she considers the love of her life. She's willing to do anything to show everyone that having love is more than enough. She has a very poor relationship with her mother, whom she doesn't consider a friend and is always quarreling with her. She is incapable of forgiving Mariano, her father, for having abandoned them when she was a child.

PEDRO PEREZ – Jose Luis Resendez
He’s very attractive, sexy and manly. Pedro is sensitive and smart, but also very impulsive. He’s a humble guy, who leads a tough, hard-working life. He doesn't have a steady job and makes a living from whatever jobs he gets. He has a huge heart and dreams of having a small house of his own and several children. He falls hopelessly in love with Ignacia, even though deep down he knows she could never be his. He's proud and a little headstrong, which many times go against his best interest. He loves his family above all, especially his mother, with whom he has a terrific yet over-protective relationship. He has a girlfriend, Mireya, whom he loves, but not in the same way as when they first began dating.

TOMAS VILLAMAYOR – Fabian Rios
He’s attractive, smart, clever, unfaithful, cynical, and unscrupulous; he has no principles. Tomas is a complete perfectionist, a serious man, who wants to marry Ignacia above all things. He's obsessive, extremely tidy, meticulous, somewhat difficult and conservative. He always wants to get things done his way. By all appearances, he is a prince of a man, one who knows how to make a woman happy, with gifts and romantic details. However, drinking turns him into a very different person: he's a fierce and challenging adversary, as he lets out all that evil within him.

ESTELA – Felicia Mercado
She is Ignacia and Ruben’s mother, and Alfonsina’s daughter. Estela is a cold, heartless woman, brilliant, decisive and unforgiving. She comes from a very good social status. She was left alone at an early age and had to learn to get ahead on her own, something she's always repeating as if she wanted to blame all those around her for it. All her dreams and illusions are placed on Ignacia, whom she raised in her own image. She's capable of hatred and not forgiving, even the people she loves. She is Julio's main enemy and will not rest until she separates him from her daughter. She has a strange relationship with Tomas, her son-in-law, whom she worships and venerates above all things.

JOSE MANUEL CORREAL – Shalim Ortiz
He is attractive, very smart and a good man. He is a civil engineer and works at the Omega Construction Company. He has a somewhat malleable personality, which leads him to not be able to form his own opinion or a voice about anything. He will be continuously manipulated by Karina when she discovers she needs a facade to continue her relationship with Tomas. Unwittingly and unintentionally, he will be Karina's puppet who will play with him as she pleases. He's an affectionate guy of good feelings who only dreams of settling down with a good woman and having children. Becoming aware of Karina's lies will bring out the worst of his personality.

MIREYA GOMEZ – Sofia Lamas
She is Pedro's girlfriend, a girl of humble origins, who dreams of marrying Pedro and changing her life. She's been in a wheelchair for two years, after a car accident she had with Pedro. She appears to be calm and acts as if she has overcome her condition, but she is deeply bitter and resentful after being confined to a wheelchair. She becomes obsessed with Pedro and will do everything possible to stay with him.

ALFONSINA – Tina Romero
She is Estela’s mother, and Ignacia and Ruben’s grandmother. Alfonsina is a much more liberal woman than her own daughter. She is cheerful, fun, and someone who can read between the lines in situations. She will be the go-between in Ignacia and Pedro’s relationship, encouraging her granddaughter to follow her heart.

RUBEN SANTAMARIA – Oscar Priego
Ruben is Estela and Mariano’s son, and Ignacia’s brother. He's a rebellious boy, the black sheep of the family. He's violent, aggressive and permanently looking for trouble to upset others. Deep down, he's a guy anxious to be loved, but who's always had to be strong to get ahead. Misguided by bad company, he will end up stealing and in drug conflicts and his issues will get complicated when the police start looking for him. His mess has cost millions that Tomas has financed, as a gesture of solidarity. His entire life will take a dramatic turn when he faces a personal situation.

GINA PEREZ – Lilian Tapia
Gina is Pedro’s mother and Margarita’s sister. She is attractive, sexy, lively, lighthearted, smart and spontaneous. She is a woman of humble origins, hard-working and who has always been very lucky. Everywhere she goes, she's always the queen of the place. This was precisely what captivated Mariano when he met her, almost thirty years ago.

MARIANO SANTAMARIA– Leonardo Daniel
He is a man of an enormous inner life, cheerful and a little bohemian, who saw how his vital energy subsided forever once he married Estela. Forced by his wife, a woman full of secrets and capable of extortion, he leaves his family against his will. When he hears that his daughter is getting married, he decides to regain that past and close this chapter of his life. He loves his daughter Ignacia, thus suffering when he faces his children's strong rejection. When he is reunited with Gina, he feels he can't leave again and decides to stay close to try and tie all the loose ends in his existence.

MARGARITA PEREZ – Monica Sanchez-Navarro
Margarita is Lupita and Pedro’s presumptive “mother,” and Gina’s sister. She’s a hard-working and self-denying woman, who has dedicated her entire life to the care of others. In love with Olegario, she feels she is her sister’s rival when she realizes that he is flirting with Gina.

OLEGARIO OSCULO GOMEZ – Ricardo Dalmacci
Olegario is Mireya’s father, and a project manager at Tomas’s construction company. He's whom everyone calls "the old sage." He has a great deal of patience, is good at giving advice, and he is the first person to notice something is going on between Ignacia (his boss) and Pedro. Olegario’s life is a real mystery, and he himself has made sure to fuel a legend around himself. He's in love with Gina, but she doesn't seem to have the time or the energy for love.

KARINA CUERVO – Christina Dieckmann
She is Ignacia's best friend. Karina is attractive, sexy, but also a liar and manipulative. She’s her friend’s complete opposite: She likes to party, is emotionally unstable, changes boyfriends often, and her motto is "live as if the world is coming to an end." She's cynical and very resourceful to get what she wants. In time, she will realize that she is completely in love with Tomas, and will have to go out of her way to keep her feelings to herself. She will even start a relationship with Jose Manuel in order to hide her feelings.

CHRISTOPHER MELQUIADES GODINEZ “NETO” – Alex Ruiz
He’s Pedro's co-worker, an expert in masonry. He's fun, talkative, falls in love very easily, and is good at partying, telling jokes, drinking beer and wrestling. He has always liked Mireya, Pedro's eternal girlfriend, but the loyalty to his friend has prevented him from getting close to her. His reputation as a womanizer will be his worse sentence when he decides to settle down. He's a lonely guy, who has no family, and who sees Pedro as a brother.

LUPITA PEREZ – Carolina Ayala
Lupita is Margarita’s daughter and Pedro's sister. Lupita is in high school and a model daughter. She's generous with her mother, helps out at home, and is responsible in her studies and a model student. All this begins to change when she meets Ruben, and her world turns upside down. She falls hopelessly in love with him and, to her surprise, gets pregnant. She is expelled from school, rejected by her family, and the last thing Ruben wants is to help her. So she decides that the best thing she can do is harden her heart and become a cold and manipulative woman.

Ignacia Santamaria – Ana Layevska
Es hermosa, inteligente, sensible, una muchacha de muy buena posición social, con estudios universitarios. Posee un fuerte don de mando y vive diciendo que las mujeres no son el verdadero sexo débil. En el fondo es una mujer que necesita amor y que no conoce la pasión. Cuando lo hace, ya no quiere renunciar a ella y se aferra con uñas y dientes al que considera el amor de su vida. Está dispuesta a todo con tal de poder demostrarles a todo que cuando hay amor basta y sobra. Tiene una muy mala relación con su madre, a quien no consigue sentir como su amiga, y vive discutiendo con ella. No logra perdonar a Mariano, su padre, por el hecho de haberlos abandonado cuando ella era una niña.

Pedro Pérez – José Luis Resendez
Muy atractivo, sensual, macho en todo el sentido de la palabra. Sensible, inteligente, actúa más por impulso que con la cabeza. Muchacho humilde, que ha tenido una vida dura y de mucho esfuerzo. No tiene trabajo fijo y vive de lo que consigue. Tiene un enorme corazón y sueña con poder tener una casita propia y varios hijos. Se enamora perdidamente de Ignacia, aunque en el fondo piensa que nunca la tendrá. Es orgulloso y algo obstinado, lo que muchas veces le juega en contra. Quiere a su familia por encima de todas las cosas, sobre todo a su madre con la que tiene una estupenda y sobre protectora relación. Tiene una novia, Mireya, a quien quiere mucho, pero, ya no con el amor de antes.

Tomás Villamayor – Fabián Ríos
Atractivo, inteligente, sagaz, infiel, cínico, sin escrúpulos ni principios. Tomás es un sujeto perfeccionista al máximo, serio, y quiere casarse con Ignacia por encima de todas las cosas porque él la eligió para ser su esposa. Es maniático, ordenado en extremo, meticuloso, algo mañoso y conservador. Quiere que las cosas se hagan siempre a su manera. Es, eso sí, un príncipe: sabe cómo hacer feliz a una mujer llenándola de regalos y detalles románticos. Sin embargo el alcohol lo convierte en alguien muy distinto: como enemigo es feroz y de temer, ya que deja escapar toda esa maldad que vive en él.

Estela – Felicia Mercado
Hija de Alfonsina, madre de Ignacia y Rubén. Mujer dura y fría, brillante, categórica e implacable. De buena posición social. Es una mujer atractiva, que se conserva muy bien para su edad. Se quedó sola muy joven y tuvo que aprender a salir adelante sola, cosa que siempre repite como si quisiera culpar a todos lo que la rodean por eso. Todos sus sueños e ilusiones están puestos en Ignacia, a quien crió como si fuera ella misma. Tal vez por eso quiere verla casada con Tomás. Es capaz de odiar y de no perdonar, incluso a la gente que quiere. Es la principal enemiga de Pedro y no descansará hasta separarlo de su hija. Tiene una extraña relación con Tomás, su yerno, a quien idolatra y venera por encima de todas las cosas.

José Manuel Correal – Shalim Ortiz
Atractivo, muy inteligente, un buen hombre. Estudió ingeniería civil y trabaja en la constructora Omega. Tiene una personalidad algo maleable, cosa que lo hace no tener opinión propia y una voz definida con respecto a nada. Será manipulado permanentemente por Karina cuando esta descubre que necesita una fachada para seguir su relación con Tomás. Sin quererlo y proponérselo, será un títere de Karina que jugará con él a su antojo. Es un tipo de buenos sentimientos, cariñoso, que sólo sueña con establecerse con una buena mujer y tener hijos. Al darse cuenta de las mentiras de Karina, sacará a relucir su peor personalidad

Mireya Gómez – Sofía Lama
Novia de Pedro. Es una muchacha de origen humilde, que sueña con casarse con Pedro, y cambiar en algo su vida. Lleva dos años sentada en una silla de ruedas, luego de un accidente que tuvo en un automóvil donde iba con Pedro. En apariencia, trata de mostrarse tranquila y superada, pero, guarda una profunda amargura y resentimiento por haber terminado en esa silla de ruedas. Se obsesiona con Pedro, y hará hasta lo imposible para quedarse con él.

Rubén Santamaria – Oscar Priego
Hijo de Estela y Mariano y hermano de Ignacia. Es un muchacho rebelde, la oveja negra de la familia. Es violento, agresivo, y se busca permanentemente problemas para molestar a los demás. En el fondo es un pequeño muchacho lleno de ansias de ser querido, pero siempre ha tenido que hacerse el fuerte para salir adelante. Mal aconsejado por malas compañías, terminará robando y metido en conflictos de droga, y sus problemas se irán complicando cuando la policía comience a buscarlo. Su líos han costado una millonada que Tomás, solidario, ha financiado. Toda su vida dará un dramático giro a consecuencia de una situación que tendrá que afrontar.

Alfonsina – Tina Romero
Madre de Estela y abuela de Ignacia y Rubén. Es una mujer muchísimo más moderna que su propia hija. Alegre, divertida, y sabe ver debajo del agua. Será la principal alcahueta en la relación de Ignacia con Pedro, alentando a su nieta a que siga los designios de su corazón.

Gina Pérez – Lilian Tapia
Madre de Pedro y hermana de Margarita. Atractiva, sensual, alegre, vivaracha, inteligente, espontánea, con mucha chispa. Mujer de origen humilde, esforzada y que siempre tuvo mucha suerte. Donde está siempre es la reina del lugar. Eso fue precisamente lo que cautivó a Mariano cuando la conoció casi treinta años atrás.

Mariano Santamaria – Leonardo Daniel
Hombre de una enorme vida interior, alegre y algo bohemio, que una vez que se casó con Estela vio cómo su energía vital se apagaba para siempre. Obligado por su mujer, quien está llena de secretos y chantajes, debe partir abandonando a su familia a pesar de él mismo. Cuando se entera de que su hija se va a casar, decide regresar para recuperar ese pasado y cerrar ese capítulo de su vida. Cuando se reencuentra con Gina, siente que no puede volver a irse y decide quedarse cerca para intentar solucionar todos los cabos sueltos que tiene su existencia.

Margarita Pérez – Mónica Sánchez-Navarro
Mujer muy esforzada y sacrificada, que consagró su vida entera al cuidado de los demás. Sufre mucho al no poder revelarle a Pedro que su verdadera madre es Gina, que regresó para recuperarlo. Enamorada de Olegario, se siente rival de su hermana al darse cuenta de que este le coquetea a Gina.

Olegario Osculo Gómez – Ricardo Dalmacci
Olegario es el padre de Mireya, y jefe de obra en la construcción de Tomás. Es lo que todos llaman “el viejo sabio”. Tiene una gran paciencia, es muy acertado con los consejos, y es el primero en darse cuenta de que algo está ocurriendo entre Ignacia, su jefa, y Pedro. La vida de Olegario es un verdadero misterio y él mismo se ha encargado de alimentar una leyenda en torno a él mismo. Está enamorado de Gina, pero ella no parece tener tiempo ni energías para el amor. Cuando Mariano se interpone entre él y Gina, Olegario decidirá ponerse las pilas y empezar a jugársela por conquistar a la mujer que le gusta, pero, en el camino, se enamorará de Margarita. No sabe mentir y es muy honesto, lo que le traerá más de algún problema.

Karina Cuervo – Christina Dieckmann
La mejor amiga de Ignacia. Atractiva, sensual, mentirosa, manipuladora. Es lo opuesto a su amiga: es fiestera, inestable emocionalmente hablando, cambia de novio como de gustos y ropa y su lema es “vive como si el mundo se fuera a acabar”. Es cínica y muy hábil para conseguir lo que se propone. Con el tiempo se dará cuenta de que está completamente enamorada de Tomás, y tendrá que hacer mil malabares para mantener en secreto sus sentimientos. Incluso, será capaz de iniciar una relación con José Manuel para esconder lo que siente.

Christopher Melquiades Gonidez “Neto”– Alex Ruiz
Compañero de trabajo de Pedro, experto en albañilería. Es divertido, locuaz, enamoradizo, bueno para la fiesta, las bromas, la cerveza y la lucha libre. Siempre le ha gustado Mireya, la eterna novia de Pedro, pero la fidelidad a su amigo le ha impedido hacer cualquier acercamiento con ella. Su fama y pasado de picaflor será su peor condena cuando quiera empezar a sentar cabeza. Es un muchacho solitario, que aparentemente no tiene familia, y que ha visto en Pedro un hermano.

Lupita Pérez – Carolina Ayala
Hija de Margarita, y hermana de Pedro. Lupita está en secundaria y es una hija modelo. Es generosa con su madre, colabora en la casa, es responsable en los estudios y una alumna ejemplar. Todo eso comienza a cambiar cuando conoce a Rubén, y su mundo queda de cabeza. Se enamora perdidamente de él y, para su sorpresa, termina embarazada. La expulsan del colegio, su familia la rechaza, y Rubén lo que menos pretende es ayudarla. Entonces decidirá que lo mejor que puede hacer es endurecer su corazón y convertirse en una mujer fría y calculadora.

Mi się też na początku nie podobała fryzura Jose, ale po obejrzeniu prom doszłam do wniosku, że dzięki temu powstaje fajna postać, takiego ciepłego i miłego mężczyzny, właśnie takie "obrero"

może nie jest to najlepsza fryzura, ale jednak pasuję do postaci
